Flowcode creator spotlight showcases the talents and skills from our community. Today, get to know the team from Contractify. We spoke with Elke Decock, their head of marketing, about how Contractify is alleviating administrative pain points for tedious contract tasks, and using Flowcode's QR codes to educate their customers.

Hey Elke, thanks for taking the time to chat. Let's start with the basics — could you tell me a bit about Contractify?

Contractify is an innovative contract management software provider, with a strong emphasis on AI-assistance. Our highly user-friendly contract management platform is leveraged by legal, finance & purchase professionals to alleviate administrative contract tasks & streamline contract procedures. This way, we aid over 100+ leading companies to mitigate contract risks, lower administrative workload & improve cross-department collaboration.

It's really interesting to see how AI (artificial intelligence) is being used across so many industries to streamline processes. I'd love to know a bit about how you managed to embed such interesting technology into your business, and how you started it?

Steven and Herlinde, Contractify's co-founders, actually started off as contract management consultants in 2016. While supporting businesses in regaining a grip on their contracts and mitigating contract risks, Contractify's founders struggled to find a user-friendly tool to efficiently tackle their customers' contract management challenges. That's when they decided to build their own contract management software: Contractify.

Today, our mission has remained unchanged: to enable anyone who’s responsible for a contract, to actually manage it. We believe that contract management should never be a burden, but something automated, easy and paperless that helps fulfill the goals of an organization.

How do you see this industry evolving in the years to come? It seems like you're operating in a pretty competitive space?

We believe that the awareness around the benefits of contract management will increase tremendously in the next 5 years. Artificial Intelligence will definitely play an essential part in this, by making contract management a more accessible low-effort/high-impact way of managing risks. Contracts will no longer be seen as merely a legal document, but leveraged as a rich data intelligence tool that provides value and a competitive edge to all departments.

As you can imagine, we love seeing how you incorporate QR technology into your business — but, why did you decide to do it?

As our industry is gaining momentum, it's crucial to always communicate the right information at the right time, in the right place, to the right person. Flowcode helps us to provide a swift customer journey to our prospects, which aligns perfectly with our mission to be as accessible as possible. We happily use Flowcode to provide the latest information to our prospects, via QR-codes with adjustable landing page url's on our flyers, business cards, brochures and so on. Having insights in our QR-codes' performance via Flowcode's analytics, has also more than once proven to be a great asset to the marketing team to gain insights in how our content performs.

You're making us blush! Okay, one last question. What's the most interesting way you've used QR codes?

The most convenient way we use Flowcode's QR-solution is by incorporating the QR-codes in our business cards. This not only gives us the opportunity to change the QR-code's landing page to the latest marketing campaign or to content related to a specific trade fair, we can also adjust each colleague's business card separately. Having this possibility makes it even more interesting to test and evaluate what landing page works best for our sales colleagues, or to efficiently direct offline traffic to a colleague's personal linkedin profile.
