Flowcode Pixel and Conversion Dashboard

What is the Flowcode Pixel?

The Flowcode Pixel is a piece of code that you add to your website to help you better understand the journey of your customers who are scanning your Flowcode QR codes. By defining the conversion action you want to measure, the Flowcode Pixel makes it easy to see the actions a person takes when they arrive on your site, after scanning your Flowcode.

Traditional digital advertising begins with awareness based on an online interaction. With the Flowcode Pixel, you are able to extend your marketing funnel and, for the first time ever, track offline interactions.

Flowcode is providing Pixel technology that allows you to track offline intent.

      What is a Tracking Pixel?

A tracking pixel is a snippet of code that businesses place on their website to understand how visitors behave on the site. Pixels can track different kinds of visitor actions, called events, such as viewing a webpage, hovering over an icon, purchasing an item and more. Tracking pixels are often used to report on and optimize marketing campaigns that are driving users to complete a specific action on sites. For example, a business would use a Facebook Pixel to track account sign-ups from visitors that navigate to their site via a Facebook ad.

      What is the Flowcode Pixel?

The Flowcode Pixel is the first product of its kind to show a full funnel, offline to online, attribution model. From offline scans in the real world to online conversion, customers using the Flowcode pixel can understand the behavior of their audience and the actions they are taking on their sites. Once your Flowcode Pixel is set up, insights can be analyzed on a native conversion dashboard in your account. Whether you’re trying to study pageviews or purchases, Flowcode’s native UI is providing a central hub to distill learnings from post-scan actions.

How does the Flowcode Pixel work?

Flowcode offers two types of pixels: a universal pixel and a conversion pixel. Our universal pixel tracks pageviews from Flowcode driven across all pages on the destination site domain, while the conversion pixel tracks specific actions such as a purchase or sign-up that you define ahead of time. The universal pixel is used to map the “consumer journey” and the conversion pixel determines the ROI of the journey. For example, if a user scans a Flowcode to the Shop Now page at an NBA game, the universal pixel would track what items they looked at and the conversion pixel would track what item was purchased and how much revenue was obtained.

Both the universal and conversion pixel work by tracking activity for all traffic driven by Flowcode sources (ex. Flowcode scan or Flowpage link click). This is done through proprietary technology that generates a unique identifier that can be used to link an individual scan or link click to downstream pageviews or conversions. A custom attribution window can also be set to capture conversions that happen after a user leaves the site and comes back.

Why should I use the Flowcode Pixel?

Leveraging the Flowcode Pixel enables you to identify in real time how traffic from your Flowcodes and Flowpages is converting on your site. The Pixel expands the view of your success tracking by collecting data through to the end conversion on your destination, allowing for full funnel ROI calculations. This also provides insight into existing gaps in any offline to online conversion funnel, allowing brands to identify exactly where through the campaign and online experience they may be losing a customer.

Using the Flowcode Pixel, creators will be able to:

      • Evaluate ROI on offline campaigns
      • Optimize conversions across campaigns over time
      • Create and analyze offline audience segments based on consumer conversion profiles
      • A/B Test conversion funnels, analyze experiments with real-time data
      • Consolidate full funnel reporting in one location, with ability to extract in real-time via API
      • Construct comprehensive campaigns with a clear entry point and exit point of the conversion funnel
      • Measure dropoff and bounce rate in a multi-step campaign based on click events
