Jananiy is a Multi-Global-Award-Winning Composer, Film-Score Composer, Singer-Songwriter, Versatile Musician, Indian Classical Vocalist, Western Classical Singer, Music Director, Playback Singer, Performer, Music Producer, Sound Engineer, Record Producer, Carnatic Keyboard Instrumentalist, Keyboardist/Pianist/Harmonium Player, and Research Scholar. Records multi percussions for own recordings. Bestowed with the "National Award" (Prime Minister Rashtriya Bal Puraskar), 2002 from the Government of India & "Kalai Maamani" Award by the Government of Tamilnadu, 2018. She's a Voting Member of the Recording Academy / GRAMMYs, LA Chapter. She composes music and sings for several Indie Albums, Scores/Cues, Short Films & Ad Idents. Completed ATCL in Western Classical Vocal, Grade 8 in Keyboard, Theory & Vocal from Trinity College London. A Senior Diploma from Prayag Sangeet Samiti in Hindustani Classical Music. A Grad in Economics from Stella Maris College, Chennai. A Post Grad in Indian Music & M.Phil Music pursuing a PhD from Queen Mary's College, Chennai, India.
