Psycrotted
Psycrotted wurde Ende 2020 in Leipzig als Nachfolger eines gescheiterten Projekts der beiden Gitarristen, Oli (Ex-Kiraeios) und Stefan (Ex-Zarathustra, Ex-Kiraeios), ins Leben gerufen. Bald fanden Sie mit Aaron (Drums, Ex-Zarathustra), den Stefan bereits von Zarathustra kannte, und Mitsh (Growls/Bass, Warforger), welcher ein Arbeitskollege von Stefan ist, weitere Bandmitglieder. Anfangs, dank der Corona-Pandemie und der Kontaktbeschränkungen, war es nicht möglich sich für gemeinsame Jam-Sessions und Proben zu treffen. Im April 2021 war es dann soweit und man traf sich zur ersten Probe. Was als kleines Nebenprojekt angesehen war, um etwas Abwechslung in die persönlichen und musikalischen Gegebenheiten der noch bestehenden Bands (Zarathustra und Warforger) zu bringen, entpuppte sich schnell zu etwas größeren. In kürzester Zeit wurden zahlreiche Songs geschrieben und perfektioniert. Im Dezember 2021 kam dann der Wendepunkt für Stefan und Aaron, und beide verließen Zarathustra, um sich voll auf Psycrotted zu konzentrieren. Im März 2022 wurde eine Promo mit 2 Songs veröffentlicht. Seit Juni 2022 teilten sie sich schon die verschiedensten Bühnen Mitteldeutschlands zusammen mit Bands wie Postmortem, Graceless, Profanity, Protector, Disaster KFW und Ad Cinerem. Anfang Oktober 2024 folgt das Debüt Album. Psycrotted was formed in Leipzig in late 2020 as the successor of a failed project of the two guitarists, Oli (ex-Kiraeios) and Stefan (ex-Zarathustra, ex-Kiraeios). Soon they found more bandmembers with Aaron (Drums, Ex-Zarathustra), who Stefan already knew from Zarathustra, and Mitsh (Growls/Bass, Warforger). Initially, thanks to the Corona pandemic and contact restrictions, it was not possible to meet for joint for some jam sessions or rehearsals. Then, in April 2021, the time had come and they met for their first rehearsal. What was considered a small side project to bring some variety into the personal and musical circumstances of the still existing bands (Zarathustra and Warforger), quickly turned out to be something bigger. In a very short time numerous songs were written. In December 2021 came the turning point for Stefan and Aaron, and both left Zarathustra to fully concentrate on Psycrotted. In March 2022 a promo with 2 songs was released. Since June 2022, they have shared the stages of Central Germany with bands such as Postmortem, Graceless, Profanity, Protector, Disaster KFW and Ad Cinerem. The debut album will follow at the beginning of October 2024.
